I wanted to be able to wake up and have everything done rather than be stressed out and have to put on false eyelashes and fill in my eyebrows. My eyebrows are also microbladed, so it was really important to get those touched up. The biggest thing before I left was making sure my lashes were perfect, because I have lash extensions. I curled it, but then it went straight right away. My hair is naturally really straight, but the other day it was so humid my hair was so frizzy. My biggest concern is the humidity with my hair. I don't deal with humidity where I live, so it was such a shock when I got here. And then I had to find cute pajamas because I usually just sleep in an oversized T-shirt, and I didn't want to be in that on TV. I also went to the mall and tried to find beachy heels, dresses, and swimsuit cover-ups. But I knew I needed to get a lot of bikinis, so I went on Revolve and bought a bunch of things with express shipping because I had only, like, a week to pack. I'm from Washington, so I didn't have a bunch of hot-weather clothes. I don't know if the show's going to let me wear it, but I have it just in case my hair gets really bad. My hair is so unpredictable, so I'm scared it's not going to work and just be frizzy. What's the most surprising thing you packed? Keep it classy, so it won't go all over the place. If I do wear lipstick, I would just give him a little peck. If I'm coupled up with a guy I know I'm going to be making out with, I'll probably just stick with lip balm or something that won't stain them. It doesn't matter how many times I watch-it just doesn't work.
I've watched so many YouTube tutorials, but I still don't know how to do falsies. I'm hoping the girls in the house can help me with that. I'm really bad at eye makeup, like, I suck at doing eye shadows and putting on lashes. I had to buy so many I wanted an affordable brand. I went to the drugstore and got all the Aussie curly products they had. So I packed a lot of products to make sure my curls stay popping in Fiji because of the humidity. I'm very big on hair, because I feel like that's the first thing people see.
What's the best lipstick or gloss for making out? There might be some kissing in the villa.
I never used that before, but I think it will help me keep my makeup on a lot longer-especially with the humidity here on the island.
I learned from YouTube that I should be using setting powder. I've watched some YouTube videos, so I'll be OK with the basics. I'm hoping one of the contestants is a makeup artist or some kind of beauty guru and can help me out. You'll be doing your own hair and makeup in the villa. Plus, I think on camera that picks up a little better. I think the pencil wouldn't have been enough to keep my eyebrows in place. I went out and bought the Glossier brow gel because of the humidity. Did you pack anything to deal with the sun and humidity? I also brought, like, way too many sunglasses. It's the Superdown x Chantel Jeffries one-piece, and it's so cute because the strings wrap around. I'm most excited about this white one-piece from Revolve. I brought a ton of sundresses and evening dresses for the coupling ceremonies, and fun swimwear for day. There's actually still a package I'm trying to figure out how to get out here because it came late. I had to overnight-ship everything, so I was literally packing down to the last day.
